As a photojournalist and documentary photographer I have worked for major North American and European magazines and international development agencies from bases in Vancouver, London and Berlin.
My magazine assignments have included photographing an icebreaker voyage through the Canadian Arctic, life in Nicaragua during the Contra war and archaeological digs in Egypt, Peru and Tonga. I have documented humanitarian projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America for international development agencies.
Clients have included the London Sunday Times magazine, World War 2 magazine, Equinox, Canadian Airlines inflight and Canadian Geographic. I have photographed extensively for the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the International Research and Development Centre (IDRC).
I currently live in a village 160km outside Cape Town.
